One of the first local Global Compact networks to be formed was the Global Compact Network Germany (DGCN) in 2002. Building this diverse network was, and continues to be, an exciting stakeholder process. As a voluntary, self-pledge initiative the GC relies on its members to actively sign on and to support the ten principles focusing human rights, fair labour, environmental and anti-corruption issues. Find out how those with sufficient capacity can be invited to take more responsibility and how “late adaptors” can be included to the same level of conversation.
